Job Title: EMEA Pricing Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Pricing Strategist to join our team at Hitachi Vantara. As a key member of our Global Quote Operations organization, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class expertise in aspects of quoting and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide elite pricing expertise to Field Sales and Pre-Sales teams, delivering recommendations and approvals for competitive pricing of solutions offered to Customers and Partner businesses in the EMEA region.
  • Build personal relationships based on trust and commitment, working closely with other Deals Desk team members, Configuration Strategists, Services Desk, Finance, Commercial Pricing, Field Sales, and Area Sales Operations teams to achieve responsiveness and accuracy in accordance with Customer requirements and agreed SLAs.
  • Contribute to RFQ/RFP/RFI responses in the area of pricing and product modeling for large Global/International opportunities with unique characteristics.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks around pricing process and escalations, regulating processes that support these activities.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the EMEA storage industry, strategic pricing, deal analysis, and awareness of IFRS revenue recognition accounting standards.
  • Prior experience related to Finance, Accounting, Sales Support, or Sales Operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and share information with stakeholders and all levels of the organization.
  • Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation, open-minded and customer-centric approach to daily challenges, and demonstrable ability and willingness to learn.
  • Business proficiency in English (any additional European languages would be ideal).
