Cargo Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cargo Operations Manager to join our team at Perenco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and offloading of cargo on our vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cargo loading and offloading plans in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cargo team, including pumpmen and other support staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of cargo equipment and systems to ensure they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and operations, to ensure seamless execution of cargo operations.
- Monitor and report on cargo operations performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cargo operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of cargo equipment and systems, including loading and offloading procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, including those related to cargo safety and security.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marine engineering or logistics.
- Advanced training in cargo operations, safety, and security.
