Job Description:
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team at Balazs. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for handling purchase categories and implementing purchasing strategies in collaboration with Category Managers and Home Healthcare affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support international affiliates in their development.
- Collaborate with Category Managers and Home Healthcare affiliates to implement purchasing strategies.
- Define purchasing strategies for purchasing category sub-segments and coordinate with subsidiaries and Category Managers.
- Implement purchasing strategies for assigned projects.
- Consolidate and analyze needs of all geographies, launch calls for tender, conduct purchasing negotiations and contract with suppliers.
- Influence and support subsidiaries in deployment of projects contributing to global business strategy.
- Manage risks and opportunities associated with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for projects in question.
- Identify, propose and lead cost optimization projects in coordination with subsidiaries.
- Participate in continuous improvement of management processes and tools.
Requirements:
- 5-year degree from engineering or business school.
- Initial experience in purchasing management in international environment.
- Successful experience(s) in purchasing management and negotiation.
- Fluent English, 3rd language appreciated.
- Good command of IT tools (Google environment, Excel, Power BI).
