McCain Foods is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist - Ingredients to join our Continental Europe Procurement Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the overall supplier relationship, sourcing strategy, and procurement approach for our secondary ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to ensure security of supply and sustainable cost advantage.
- Manage relationships with existing and new suppliers, ensuring compliance with McCain's policies and values.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive category plans and ensure effective execution.
- Proactively identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through supplier management and competitive bidding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with ability to communicate effectively in a complex organization.
