Principal QA Engineer – Pricing Integration Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal QA Engineer to join our Pricing Integration & Orchestration department at Amadeus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and spreading best practices around QA methodology, conducting technical discussions with internal development partners, and taking a leading role in the technical implementation of the test strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure the team performs at a high level and is recognized as a leader in their area.
  • Understands how main business drivers may impact their area and can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity.
  • Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, and leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Master QA methodology and tools, environments, and test automation solutions.
  • Hold a proficient product domain knowledge, including relevant business processes & scenarios, and a proficient understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience with Test Management Tools, such as Octane, and testing tools, such as Robot framework, TTS, and Postman.
  • University degree in Computer science and ISTQB Certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of Gitlab and a solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as agile, SAFE, Scrum, or Kanban.
