Research Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our team at the Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes (IGDR) in France. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Marc Tramier to develop high-content multiplex FRET biosensors for simultaneous monitoring of mitochondrial functions in cancer cells.
Project Overview:
The aim of this project is to analyze mitochondrial functions using second-generation FRET biosensors in High-Content Screening mode. This will enable us to dissect the alterations of mitochondrial physiology in melanoma paradigms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-content multiplex FRET biosensors for mitochondrial function analysis.
- Implement High-Content Screening mode to analyze mitochondrial functions in cancer cells.
- Dissect the alterations of mitochondrial physiology in melanoma paradigms.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate with a strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have experience with FRET biosensors, High-Content Screening, and mitochondrial function analysis.
