Job Role Summary

The Barista role at Accor is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the heart of Sydney's CBD. As a Barista, you will be responsible for serving food and beverage in a timely and pleasant manner, ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly and efficiently serve food and beverage to guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  • Prepare and present food and beverage items to a high standard, utilizing correct coffee making processes and techniques.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, using the point of sale system to manage sales and inventory.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, providing exceptional service to all guests and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in food and beverage preparation and service.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar food and beverage role.
  • Strong Barista skills, particularly in high-volume environments.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage safety standards and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated competency in operating point of sale systems and applying numeracy skills for smooth transactions.
  • Friendly and positive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
