Join Our Team as a Category Merchant Manager in Hardlines

We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Category Merchant Manager to join our French Marketplace team at Amazon. As a key member of our Hardlines business, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify growth opportunities in Hardlines categories and develop scalable initiatives to support this growth at a European level.
  • Provide recommendations to improve customer and seller experiences, creating new or enhanced experiences.
  • Collaborate with Leadership on annual and quarterly planning, as well as other periodic reports.

The ideal candidate will be able to find creative solutions in an ambiguous environment, formulate and solve problems, and act as the voice of customers and sellers.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related areas with quantitative depth.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in project/program management, marketing, or sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with demonstrated ability to dive deep into customer data and translate insights into opportunities.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders.
  • Sound business judgment and a practical approach to getting things done.
  • Ability to deliver results in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
