Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inside Systems Engineer to join our team at Fortinet. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales and Systems Engineering teams to provide technical support and expertise to customers in a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales support: assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Sales calls: be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
  • Post-sales support: provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
  • Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES technologies.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
  • Excellent telephone manner with good spoken and written English.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
