At American Express Global Business Travel, we are looking for a highly skilled R&D Manager to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating research and development projects from design to completion.
Key responsibilities include managing a team of developers, ensuring individuals contribute, learn, and grow in their role, knowledge, and skills. You will also be responsible for ensuring the team works efficiently in an enjoyable environment, evaluating and optimizing time and resources needed to carry out various project stages, and setting up necessary interfaces between departments.
Requirements include confirmed experience in C# development, engineering school or master's degree in computer science, and more than 3 years' experience in a similar R&D Manager position. Additionally, you should have first experience in team management, passion for excellence in programming, software craftsmanship, and clean code centered.
You will be working with a range of technologies including C# .NET, ASP.NET Core Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Oracle, Couchbase, RabbitMQ, ELK, Amplitude Analytics, GIT, GitLab, TeamCity, Docker, and Ansible.
