Job Description

Arkema is seeking a highly skilled European Sales Manager to lead our resin markets sales efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and developing strategic partnerships.


Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our presence in the resin markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including coating customers, adhesives manufacturers, and other industry players.
  • Collaborate with our business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and coordinate sales activities across Europe, with a focus on France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East and Africa region.
  • Provide sales forecasts, customer collection, and customer satisfaction reports to support business decision-making.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent, with a specialization in sales or negotiation.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar or technical sales position, preferably with a market player in the surfactant/polyols industry.
  • Strong sales background and good understanding of marketing principles.
  • Technical knowledge of the targeted markets and applications, as well as knowledge of specialty surfactants and polyols.
  • Rigorous, able to negotiate in an international environment, and listen to customers.
  • Team player, autonomous, and open-minded.
  • Fluent in French, Italian, and English.
