Thermoforming Machine Operator

Job Summary

Groupe Maillard Industrie is seeking a skilled Thermoforming Machine Operator to join our team in the Thermoformage department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and setting up thermoforming machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Setup and Operation

• Install and remove tooling on thermoforming machines.
• Adjust production parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.).
• Start and stop machines as needed.

• Launch production cycles and monitor the process.
• Perform quality checks during production.
• Adjust settings if parameters drift or parts do not meet quality standards.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
• Report issues and participate in troubleshooting.
• Clean and maintain tooling and equipment.

• Update production records and incident reports.
• Keep track of machine settings and maintenance records.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical Skills
  • Internal training provided, with on-the-job training during the first few weeks.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and pneumatics is a plus.
• Personal Qualities
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Motivation and desire to learn.

Working Conditions

• Work Schedule : 2x8 schedule.
• Work Environment : Production workshop with mandatory personal protective equipment.
