Job Opportunity: Android Developer for Innovative Payment Solutions


Worldline, a leading player in the payment technology sector, is seeking a talented Android developer to join our In-Person Payment Solutions team.


As an Android developer at Worldline, you will be responsible for designing and developing a new Android payment device that serves some of Europe's biggest retailers.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Participating in daily meetings to share progress and blocking points with peers
  • Understanding detailed requirements and defining the best strategy to create code
  • Writing code and unit tests to achieve good code quality
  • Delivering runnable software to testers and ensuring it meets requirements
  • Preparing and organizing demos for stakeholders
  • Contributing to the success of releases
  • Proposing technical enhancements to the team and Product Owner
  • Maintaining continuous integration and respecting the Definition of Done
  • Participating in Agile processes

Requirements



  • Master 2 in computer science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development with expertise in Kotlin on Android
  • At least 3 years of experience in payment device development
  • Knowledge of Android development environment and Gradle
  • Excellent source control skills with Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Agile processes
  • Excellent technical English, both spoken and written
