Senior Contract Manager

Hitachi Rail is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our Brussels-based team. As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of our commercial strategies and managing contracts with our customers, partners, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement contract management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Monitor and report on contract-related commercial impacts and risks, providing timely support to ensure proper negotiation and management of major variation orders.
- Oversee the identification and monitoring of key or strategic project contracts to ensure compliance until completion.
- Provide guidance on major claims preparation support and disputes handling in accordance with contract provisions.
- Ensure the proper implementation of contractual strategy and documentation related to contract closeout, extension, or renewal of agreements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Legal or Engineering fields.
- Fluent in French and advanced English skills, enabling easy communication in our international and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in contract management, particularly in the railway or turnkey contract sectors.
