Sales Team Lead - QA Software Tools Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our QA Business Unit in Paris. As a key member of our EMEA sales team, you will be responsible for leading a team across EMEA, reporting to the EMEA Sales Director.

Your primary focus will be on supporting the sales team to accelerate growth, managing and growing several important accounts within the different regions. You will connect with Director and VP level of Engineering professionals, demonstrating the value of Static Code and Software Architecture Analysis tools and other Qt Quality Assurance products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EMEA QA sales team, reporting to the Sales Director EMEA
  • Manage a growing team, coach them, and help everyone get the best out of themselves
  • Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement
  • Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow the Qt QA customer base
  • Actively build and maintain valuable senior relations with customers and prospects
  • Identify customer sub-groups, target customers already using competitor services, develop plans to proactively engage with appropriate offers
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract negotiations)

About You:

  • Background in engineering, IT/software development or similar and several years of sales experience
  • Excellent people management and coaching capabilities driving sales teams to achieve
  • Proven sales track record
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude to working with internal and external partners
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge in value-based selling, solution selling, and creating long-term business relationships
  • Understanding of software development processes and common challenges and pain points, understanding of software quality assurance is required
  • Ability to demonstrate the value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential customers
  • Strong drive and motivation to acquire new business and expand market share
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset to achieve and exceed sales strategies
  • Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language), any other language is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of C++ is an advantage
