Join OW Ocean Winds, a leading offshore windfarm company, in this exciting opportunity to work as an Operations & Maintenance Planner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and reporting on all operations and maintenance activities related to our assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the annual maintenance plan, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Supervisory Team to plan and coordinate electrical network outages and maintenance.
- Track and report on WTG maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Plan and report on activities of subcontractors executing scopes of inspection and maintenance.
- Investigate defects and underperformance, providing prompt reporting and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess maintenance performance against key performance indicators.
- Report on the status of maintenance as part of the O&M management team.
- Optimize synergy with contractors and implement a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and maintain CMMS user guides and work orders.
- Assist in authoring, reviewing, and updating Approved Written Procedures (AWP), Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
- Predict resource requirements based on forecasted work activities.
- Report on inventory status using software systems.
- Order spare parts as needed.
- Manage stockage of spare parts.
- Optimize inventory levels.
- Contribute to the identification and management of strategic spares.
- Maintain office efficiencies, plan for office events, and ensure staff welfare.
- Support risk management and continuous improvement processes.
- Monitor systems for tracking vessels and personnel transfer.
- Communicate with marine traffic using VHF Radio and similar tools.
- Maintain logging, meeting, and reporting routines.
- Coordinate monitoring and maintenance of navigational markings.
- Monitor and communicate weather reports.
- Prepare and issue advisory notices.
- Act as initial point of contact and coordinator for offshore emergency response plans.
- Support Search and Rescue operations.
- Monitor and control wind farm output via SCADA systems.
- Work to strict Control Centre procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date WTSR and Work Control records.
- Good level of experience in planning and marine coordination.
- Proficiency in software packages.
- Evidence of extensive industry-specific technical training.
- Experience with planning software or equivalent.
- At least BAC +2 in the maintenance or technical domain.
- At least 3 years of experience as a planner from a similar position.
- Experience with maintenance planning tools.
- Knowledge of office environment management.
Fluent English, both verbal and written.
Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of Safety Rules an advantage.
Full driving license.
