Supporting Global Operations
Within the Technology and Industrial Performance Department, the Warehouse & Logistic Assistance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Group's countries and businesses in achieving operational excellence. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the plants regarding warehouse performances, supporting the central customer service for cutting lines, and making the Diamant campaign planification.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance Follow the KPIs of the plant's warehouses and identify actions for continuous improvement regarding service to customers and cost. Follow the warehouse saturation and identify actions to prevent the stop of the production lines. Support the engineering teams for the functional design of warehouses during project. Evaluate the needs for stillages to keep the right level of services at the lower cost. Follow the cost of the pool of stillages and develop actions to minimize this cost.
- Planning Aggregate the needs for orders and stock for Diamant glass & allocate the demand to the available stocks and future production campaigns. Elaborate in collaboration with plants the production plannings for Diamant campaign according to the needs. Support automotive planners to assess available cutting capacity and find alternatives for cutting lines.
- Safety Ensure the sharing of accidental events inside the warehouse community and their key learnings in collaboration with the Central EHS team. Review regularly the Safety Best Practices for warehouses and share them with the different plants.
Requirements
- Generalist Engineer or Engineer in Logistics with 5-7 years of experience in the Industry with a field experience. Experience in an international and multicultural environment would be appreciated.
- Fluent in spoken and written English mandatory. French is highly appreciated. Spanish or German is a plus.
- Warehouse organization, Flux optimization, Logistic experience, Planification of production lines, International experience, Continuous improvement based on methodology like WCM.
- Project mindset: Study - Analysis – Synthesis – Action Plan. Customer oriented. Well organized/structured, field person ready to directly contribute to build legitimacy. Open minded. Full autonomy. Good communication skills. Team player with cultural empathy.

Job Requirements
The position will be based in Aubervilliers in France. The position requires frequent travels to the plants of Saint-Gobain Glass (for some days / 30% of his time). Home-Office possible.
