Data Privacy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Manager to join our team at Condé Nast. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us develop our privacy programme maturity, efficiency, and reporting on status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programmes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for privacy compliance processes
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams globally to leverage cross-domain expertise
- Work with the Data & Technology Legal team to translate legal requirements into privacy programme deliverables and processes
- Develop and deliver data mapping, including generating and updating detailed documentation of first and third-party data use and flows
- Support efforts in compliance with privacy requirements at Condé Nast, through leading data mapping workstreams, curation of data assets, and implementing applicable procedures, training, and guidance materials
About You
We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in data privacy, data governance, data management, advertising, media operations, or related fields. You should have significant experience in people management, leading teams within a matrixed environment, and demonstrate an understanding of data privacy principles, practices, and tools.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant data privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP) is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Experience in working with media or advertising environments, coupled with understanding of data handling across relevant technology ecosystems
