About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Development Specialist to join our team at Coty. As a key member of our R&D Packaging team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative packaging solutions for our leading beauty brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of new packaging concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the design and development of primary and secondary packaging, from concept to in-market delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Marketing teams to create visuals, renderings, and videos that effectively communicate packaging designs and concepts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure Coty's packaging solutions remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical packaging roles, preferably in the beauty industry or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading new packaging conception and development projects from design intent to in-market delivery.
  • Strong technical skills in creating visuals, renderings, and videos using Solidworks, Visualize, Blender, Keyshot, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify smart solutions and balance technical and business requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate technical drawings for accuracy and design intent, with a strong understanding of dimensional tolerances and stack-up.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging, or related discipline.
  • Fluency in English and French languages, with near-native proficiency.
