About the Role:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial success in the Region of Responsibility by building strong relationships with Dealers, improving their performance, and promoting the Brand. They will also develop the tools and services needed to achieve this goal.

The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the National Sales Manager and is expected to achieve the assigned commercial goals in the area of responsibility.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve the assigned commercial goals in the area of responsibility.
  2. Manage the performance of the assigned Dealer Network and create actionable improvement plans.
  3. Provide insights into the local market and competitor benchmarking in the area of responsibility.
  4. Collaborate with the local Finance Partner Team to monitor the adoption rate of preferred financial solutions and develop action plans based on feedback.
  5. Ensure that NPS Customer Satisfaction surveys are rolled out effectively and that customer feedback is treated with the utmost priority.
  6. Be a BYD Ambassador and a point of reference for the Sales Team in their Area of Responsibility.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: Business Administration or Marketing-related education.
  2. Work Experience: Solid working experience as a Sales Manager or Retail Manager.
  3. Industry Expertise: Proven experience within the automotive industry or mobility services.
  4. Financial Knowledge: Solid financial knowledge.
  5. Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented mindset.
  6. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Time Management: Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
  8. Agility: Resilient, agile, and open-minded.
  9. Results Orientation: Results-oriented.
  10. Negotiation Skills: Great negotiation skills.
  11. Language Skills: Excellent English and French language skills. Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not mandatory.
  12. Digital Tools: Thorough knowledge of commercial management software and digital tools.
