Uniform Coordinator

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a Uniform Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's uniform services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operation of uniform services to meet the requirements of our hotel outlets and staff.

• Ensure that all uniforms are clean, well-maintained, and in good condition.

• Maintain a record of new uniform purchases and tagging, according to departmental codes.

• Coordinate with suppliers and tailors to ensure timely delivery of uniforms and alterations.

• Ensure that the uniform exchange system is followed, with clean uniforms exchanged for dirty ones.

• Attend departmental communication meetings and participate in on-job training for staff.

Requirements:

• Ability to understand and communicate oral/written instructions in English.

• Ability to plan, organize, supervise, inspect, and evaluate work of subordinates.

• Ability to maintain a productive working relationship with other department supervisors and coordinate laundry services.

• Ability to recommend changes to improve service and increase operational efficiency.

• Strong physical ability to stand, walk, and handle linens for prolonged periods.
