Financial Operations Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for steering the financial operations of the hotel and complex, providing strategic financial leadership and expertise to support the successful implementation of the brand service strategy and initiatives. The successful candidate will formulate and execute a business plan aligned with the property and brand's strategy, focusing on financial activities to achieve desired results.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Excellence and Compliance: Provide thoughtful, caring, and sincere service while leading and managing the day-to-day activity of the Finance Department, ensuring all standards are followed and financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and review accounts receivable aging and bad debt provision in line with Accor policy.
- Financial Operations and Control: Assist the General Manager in ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met and support the preparation of financial audits, coordinating with the audit process for the hotel and entire complex.
- Procurement and Inventory Management: Involvement in monthly inventories together with F&B, ensuring F&B controls, procurement, stores, and receiving are in adherence with policies and procedures.
- Legal and Administrative Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly and yearly owner reports, ensuring all contracts, agreements, certificates, licenses, legal documents, and insurances (Property/Workmen) are renewed and safeguarded.
- Work Experience: Previous experience as a finance manager or in an equivalent role, preferably with an international and local experience.
- Education: Diploma or degree preferably in finance or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Communication Skills: Fully proficient in English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Systems: Excellent knowledge of Symphony, Opera, and Sun.
- Financial Acumen: Excellent experience with budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and a creative and innovative approach.
