At IQVIA, we are driving healthcare forward by harnessing the power of data science and human science to create a healthier world. As an Associate Principal Life Sciences Strategy Consultant, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this mission.
Business Development
- Develop and elevate new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads.
- Manage the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications, ensuring overall bid integrity.
- Leverage business experience and acumen to identify strategic alternatives and project approaches to client questions.
- Serve as the key point of contact with clients.
Project Management & Delivery Excellence
- Manage project teams, including both internal and external resources, to design, develop, and deliver client deliverables.
- Provide direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams.
- Ensure clear communication throughout projects and within the team.
- Provide follow-up with clients after project deliverables have been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
Thought Leadership
- Develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical markets through on-the-job experience and training.
- Support the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements.
- Share subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.
About You
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with evidence of career progression. Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience focused on local strategic consulting projects.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business, and report writing. Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and juggling priorities to meet deadlines while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.
Experience working in sizable/multi-disciplined teams and leading staff. Experience in developing credible relationships with senior-level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals, etc. Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, with a focus on the French market. Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
