NewSpace Technical seeks a highly skilled Project Manager to lead technical projects focused on space optics and telescope systems.
This role involves overseeing project lifecycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage complex technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate teams of engineers, scientists, and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with clients, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure clear understanding of project goals and progress.
- Budget & Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure delivery within budget and on time.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and technical challenges.
- Technical Documentation: Oversee creation and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring technical specifications are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, technical standards, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in technical fields, preferably in space optics, telescope systems, or aerospace engineering.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Understanding: Strong technical background in space optics, telescopic systems, or aerospace technologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, with French desirable.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and organizational challenges.
