As a Category Manager, you'll have the opportunity to join our creative and dynamic team in Paris and make a difference in a start-up environment.
As a Category Manager, you'll develop a deep understanding of how your category serves our customers. You'll have a keen sense of commercial opportunities and excellent negotiation skills, allowing you to establish lasting relationships with suppliers. You'll understand the entire supply chain and identify opportunities to improve our product range, product quality, and profitability.
Responsibilities:- Gain a comprehensive understanding of your category by combining data insights from Picnic, client interviews, and supplier contributions;
- Establish direct sourcing for our PGC and negotiate with multiple suppliers until contract signing;
- Maximize your category's potential by resolving daily issues and continuously aligning with suppliers;
- Define clear negotiation strategies to ensure competitive conditions with suppliers;
- Lead initiatives to innovate and improve our services.
- You hold a Master's degree with exposure to analytical problem-solving;
- 3-6 years of experience as a Buyer/Purchaser and/or Category Manager in a similar sector;
- You speak fluent French and English;
- You're passionate about food and/or consumer products;
- You have commercial dynamism, with a nose for opportunities and the best offers;
- You have excellent communication and partnership management skills.
