People and Culture Leader France

We are seeking a highly experienced People and Culture Leader to join our team in France. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving our people and culture agenda in France, working closely with our team based in France.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of 3 HR professionals in France, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team.
- Partner with business stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor, aligning and harmonizing HR processes and policies in a post-M&A context.
- Develop and implement end-to-end strategies to support the business in a sustainable way, assessing people and culture implications of the business strategy.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee experience and engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including performance management, career development, and recognition initiatives.
- Advise and coach people leaders and staff on employee relations topics.
- Collaborate with People and Culture peers and experts across other countries on programs and initiatives.
- Act as a trusted contact person for the Works Council (CSE).
- At least 6 years of relevant People and Culture (HR) experience, including experience in people management, preferably in a global organization, including experience with employee representative bodies and knowledge of French labor and employment law.
- Able to work in a matrix and virtual team environment, supporting multiple locations.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to maintain and build relationships with all employees, including Senior Management.
- Experience with managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation programs with a global scope.
- Good communication skills and fluency in French and English.
- Able to negotiate, even in challenging situations, and steer discussions to a desired end.
- Autonomy and a can-do attitude, with a solution-finder rather than solely problem-raiser mindset.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in law, business, psychology, or related field.
- If you have M&A experience, that's a plus (though not mandatory).
