Regional Technical Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Compliance Specialist to join our team at Vitesco Technologies. As a key member of our Technical Compliance function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of our Technical Compliance Management System (TCMS) in our respective location.
Key Responsibilities
1. TC General
• Develop and implement a local strategic agenda for Technical Compliance, aligning with the Head of TC and driving targets and priorities on a local level.
• Collaborate with Divisions, Business Units, plants, and relevant group functions to ensure an effective local TCMS.
• Monitor local process/system effectiveness, TCMS risks, and provide regular reports to the Head of TC.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with external parties, regulators, auditors, suppliers, or testing institutes.
2. Governance:
• Review local audit reports for TC relevant aspects and monitor derived measures in 1st LoD, driving required improvements in TCMS.
3. Training/Culture:
• Drive local cultural development for TC and develop country-specific training rollouts, measures, and tools.
• Advise employees of all hierarchical levels on TC.
4. Monitoring:
• Monitor TC relevant processes and measures carried out (clearings, Legal Technical Regulations, trainings).
5. Collaboration:
• Coordinate communication and cooperation with customers together with sales and PM.
Requirements
1. Competency:
• Strategic Planning: Derive and develop local strategy, procedural expertise, and strong commercial acumen.
• Leadership: Cultural development on a country level.
• Operational: Analytical skills for complex aspects (products, functions, process, legal, etc.), decision-making, and conflict resolution.
2. Required languages: English, German.
3. Required education: Master's degree or comparable in engineering/MINT (with relevant specialization/experience in highly technical environments), preferably with additional/postgraduate studies in economics/legal/MBA.
4. Work experience requirements:
• Professional: > 3 years of working experience in the field of development.
• Project: Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple work locations and hierarchical levels.
• Process: Strong understanding of various automotive regulations and norms, such as EN, ISO, IEC.
