Senior Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with expert cost management advice and guidance.
- Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures and standards.
- Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies to clients.
- Conduct cost planning and cost-in-use studies to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Advise on and implement procurement strategies to ensure that clients receive the best value for money.
- Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
- Evaluate and report on tenders to ensure that clients receive the best value for money.
- Value completed work and arrange for payments to clients.
- Settle final accounts and ensure that all financial obligations are met.
- Provide technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Produce and present reports to clients to ensure that they are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
- Mentor and coach employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Manager who has a strong background in cost management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
You will have a strong understanding of cost management principles and practices, with experience of working on major construction projects. You will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
