Position Overview
The Procter & Gamble Amiens facility, recognized as the largest production site for P&G in Europe and the second largest globally, specializes in manufacturing household and cleaning products. Daily, we produce millions of bottles of trusted brands such as Ariel, Lenor, and Febreze, catering to consumers worldwide.
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer apprentice to engage in various cybersecurity initiatives aimed at safeguarding our infrastructure and applications while enhancing the resilience of our systems.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will collaborate closely with the cybersecurity manager to:
- Participate in security assessments of applications and enhance them if vulnerabilities are identified.
- Execute SQL operations to optimize application performance.
- Engage in cybersecurity governance activities and assist in the implementation of new programs and tools.
- Respond promptly to any identified security breaches.
- Collaborate with application owners to refine and enhance their applications in accordance with established guidelines and address issues highlighted during audits.
- Develop and implement automated processes for audits, network monitoring, and application governance.
- Specifically, you will be part of the IT team at P&G's largest European facility, contributing to the production of our laundry products.
- You will be actively involved in the daily operations of the production environment, leveraging IT to optimize business processes.
Candidate Profile
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU POSSESS:
- A Master's degree or Engineering background in IT or Management, complemented by substantial IT experience.
- A strong interest in revolutionizing business operations through technology.
- A desire to gain initial experience in IT by providing production support, along with a curiosity to delve into the cybersecurity domain.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and a proven history of effective leadership, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- A passion for and proficiency in IT networks (including switches, routing, firewalls), server infrastructure (such as VMWare ESXi, storage), database management, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in English.
