The Bordeaux Neurocampus is seeking a highly skilled Neuromorphic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for expanding our current efforts in performing large-scale simulations of conductance-based neuronal models on FPGAs, with a focus on neurostimulation of the hippocampal formation.
Key Responsibilities:- Adjust and adapt the BioEmus system to replicate simulations performed by the Brian2 software.
- Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL and HLS.
- Collaborate with our team to integrate FPGA-based simulations into our existing neural network system.
- Contribute to the development of computational neuroscience models and algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and VHDL.
- Experience with embedded systems, Linux, and FPGA design.
- Knowledge of computational neuroscience and neural networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
