Job Description

As a key member of our Optimization & Data team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our web software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the design and development of the backend of Artelys' software solutions.
  • Making structural decisions to improve the quality, performance, and overall fit of the product.
  • Participating as a technical expert in high-level discussions about new features of Artelys Crystal software suite to expand its offering to new clients.
  • Engaging in the long-term maintenance and evolution of Artelys' software products.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and wish to apply your expertise to the development of high-impact software. You should be proficient in backend programming (Java/Spring and/or Python, REST API, message queues, SQL) and have the ability to develop scalable software solutions with strong availability, security, and efficiency constraints.

You should also master object-oriented programming and principles of design and software architectures, have good knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and master the main modern development tools (git in particular). Fluency in English is also required, as our development teams are international.

Working conditions include a permanent contract, managerial status with a 4-month probationary period, up to 2 days of remote work per week, and flexible working hours. Our offices are located in the city center of each city where we are located.

The recruitment process consists of three steps:

  • An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2).
  • A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes).
  • If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment.
