Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Contract Negotiator to join our team at APTITUDE SAS. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for negotiating contract documents, providing advice on contractual risks, and reviewing supply chain contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate contract documents with vendors and subcontractors.
- Provide advice on contractual risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Review and qualify supply chain contracts and agreements.
- Participate in meetings with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate contractual instruments.
- Analyze and prepare agreements, master agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Ensure the flow-down and transfer of contractual risk from the contract with the client to the purchase orders and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Excellent command of English language.
- Previous experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction, or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge and experience of English law and industry standard forms of contracts.
- Strong commercial awareness and good negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in reviewing, advising, and negotiating supply chain contracts and tenders.
- Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and influencing skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership skills/team player attitude.
