Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineering Team Lead to lead our Data Platform squad within the Platform division. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and expertise
  • Cultivating a collaborative team environment that fosters open communication, feedback, and continuous learning
  • Leading delivery, production operations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establishing strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
  • Driving technical excellence and innovation in data engineering practices and processes
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving technical excellence
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies, including GCP, BigQuery, and Terraform
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and principles
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
