Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Monetization Strategist will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 games.

In collaboration with three other monetization specialists, you will focus on optimizing advertising revenue and in-app purchases (IAP) to enhance our games' Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU) and Lifetime Value (LTV).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our ad monetization framework, including waterfall and bidding strategies for various ad formats (banner, rewarded video, interstitial), and provide actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to boost ARPDAU and LTV by refining pricing strategies and targeting approaches at a granular geographic level.
  • Evaluate the impact of ad impressions per user by adjusting the number of calls in the waterfalls.
  • Implement A/B testing on the mediation platform to assess the precise impact of optimizations on ARPDAU and performance metrics at the country level.
  • Document and track results in a shared tracker for transparency and collaboration.
  • Scale successful strategies across the entire game portfolio.
  • Design and establish the complete ad monetization setup for new game launches, ensuring proper integration of all network SDKs.
  • Engage with over 20 network partners to challenge them for new insights, seasonal pricing tests, and bi-weekly performance reviews.
  • Integrate and A/B test new monetization partners, including traditional ad networks and innovative formats (in-game ads, audio ads, etc.).
  • Negotiate incentives and integration bonuses with select new partners.
  • Collaborate closely with User Acquisition, Motion Design, Creative, and Publishing teams to provide monetization insights for both new and existing games.
  • Work with the Tech team to test GDPR and ATT compliance measures to enhance opt-in rates.
  • Maintain a strong focus on results, contributing to the achievement of global growth targets.
  • Partner with Product and Publishing teams to develop and test new monetization strategies aimed at unlocking additional LTV improvements.
  • Lead IAP experiments and analyses to enhance IAP revenue for TapNation's casual titles.
  • Challenge the Data team to explore monetization metrics from fresh perspectives to uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Present monetization initiatives, progress, and outcomes during weekly team meetings and in monthly reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events to foster partnerships and share insights.

Candidate Profile:
A passion for mobile gaming is essential. You should be results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment, possessing a strong data-driven mindset. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint are required, while knowledge of data analytics languages such as Python or SQL is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of experience in monetization, preferably within the gaming sector, is expected. A bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Business, or Engineering is preferred. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Experience with IAP setup and optimization, as well as product monetization, is highly valued.

Contract Type: Full-time or contractor
Salary: Commensurate with experience and performance incentives.
