Network Security Architect
Role:We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Architect to lead a major network security upgrade and installation project in the aerospace sector.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the security architecture of a cutting-edge network infrastructure.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions, ensuring robust protection across the entire network environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design and architecture of secure network solutions, aligning with the strategic needs of the business.
- Develop and implement network security architectures using next-generation technologies such as FortiGate and Palo Alto.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of network design and delivery.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in the execution of firewall implementation and upgrade projects.
- Oversee the documentation of security architecture designs, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats and security trends, and recommend enhancements to the security architecture to mitigate risks.
- Extensive experience in network security architecture and design, with proven ability to create secure, scalable network solutions.
- Deep expertise in next-generation firewalls, specifically FortiGate and Palo Alto.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working on firewall implementation and upgrade projects in large-scale environments.
- Ability to work in on-site environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Architect and lead the Next Generation Technology stack:
- Next-Gen Firewalls: FortiGate, Panorama, Cisco ISE
- Next-Gen Networks: Cisco, Arista, Aruba
Gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies like:
- Tufin (Secure Change, Secure Track), Netskope, F5 DNS, F5 LTM, F5 BigIQ, Infoblox
- Engage in cloud security architecture, working within a multi-vendor cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Work alongside Network Automation Engineers utilizing Python, Ansible, and Terraform to enhance automation within the network security framework.
Training and development opportunities, including exposure to cutting-edge technologies and potential certification support.
Collaborate with an elite team of Network and Network Security Engineers, including multiple CCIEs, all part of a large, collaborative network and security team.
