Role OverviewAs an Electrochemistry Innovation Materials Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing prototype battery cells, as well as optimizing their performance for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and test prototype battery cells with optimized performance for automotive applications.
- Scout, analyze, and assess promising technologies or concepts from various sources via contracts or investments strategies (press, media, scientific publications, congress, ventures, direct contacts with suppliers, startups, or academic partners).
- Assist technologies using Technology Readiness Level (TRL) evaluations with required performances assessment in virtual testing of proposed cells.
- Participate in innovation projects that gather all skills to design innovative cell designs.
- Propose and execute contracts with industrial and academic partners.
- Gather and synthesize information from several sources.
- Cells internal design, building, and experimental and virtual testing.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Electrochemistry Engineering.
- PhD in Materials Engineering or Electrochemistry (desired).
- Proficiency in English (C1 level).
The estimated annual salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 based on industry standards and location.
