About the Role:

New Balance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop long-term sustainable relationships with our wholesale partners and drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within footwear and apparel across the Lifestyle category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and set budgetary needs for your GBU, and establish account and GBU sales targets and strategic plans for achieving those targets.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and other senior team members to develop and refine the country strategic plan.
  • Responsible for continuing to evolve the account strategies, formalizing plans, and working alongside the sales planning team and Sales Manager.
  • Ensure that any developed sales strategy is aligned and consistent with the overall volume objectives of the business.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate with wholesale partners.
  • Monitor and control the orderbook, ensuring timely conversion of open orders and minimizing cancellations.
  • Collaborate with the sales planning team and demand planning team to ensure accurate forecasts through the range plan process.
  • Oversee strategic commercial negotiations, cost savings, supply agreements, and payment terms for accounts to ensure target margins are achieved.
  • Monitor and analyze sell-through data, providing regular feedback to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, providing regular communication and feedback.
