Role:

You guarantee goods and services Procurement in a global environment, whilst ensuring the best interests of Axway are met in terms of cost, quality, innovation, risk, and compliance.

The Head of Group Procurement, Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) is responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services, including facility management.

In this leadership role, the successful candidate will build a team for directing the procurement of goods and services for the whole Axway group; assist colleagues with procurement processes, change and updates other procurement-related activities; develop and/or update procurement policies and procedures; and develop a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization.

The newly created team will have tactical responsibility for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support the company’s acquisition and materials management of goods and services – for both resale, customer integration and internal use.

Responsibilities:

Main tasks:

  • You define and drive the Procurement strategy, aligned with the Business strategy, and regulatory requirements (Solvency II and DORA).
  • You define and implement group wide Procurement processes, aligned with Axway Group governance and global activity.
  • You proactively direct all aspects of the supplier lifecycle through strategy, business engagement, tender, negotiation, and contract management for all the procurement categories.
  • You manage risks mitigation with third party vendors (intragroup and external vendors).
  • You engage the Procurement activities for the whole company, and you set up and follow up Reporting regarding Procurement and Outsourcing KPIs, including savings delivery.

Additional tasks:

  • You develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
  • You develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
  • You serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
  • You oversee contract development and administration.
  • You develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and organization.
  • You manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency; meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures and develop, communicate, and implement new/revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
  • You develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization.
  • You process purchase orders; develops bids and proposals; and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.

Future challenges:

  • Engage and influence Sales Operations, Product Lines, and all Support functions to implement the Procurement, Outsourcing & TPRM strategy and processes at all levels of Management.
  • Focus on cost, quality, service, and risk aspects, but also identify opportunities to create additional value (challenge requirements and foster innovation).
  • Manage suppliers’ relationships with the different areas of the group to fully exploit synergies opportunities.
  • Coordinate various internal activities (BU’s, CC’s) and/or OE's requirements to develop global agreements where relevant.
  • Reach Business compliance to meet the Solvency II (Outsourcing Policy) and DORA TPRM requirements.

Qualifications:

Knowledge / Experiences / Competencies required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance focused.
  • Solid analytical and computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Outstanding team building and leadership skills.
  • Strong experience in Procurement in a global environment required, with sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program.
  • Essential legal knowledge: commercial law, customs regulations, transport of goods, real estate.
  • 15 years of related experience, with at least 8 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experienced negotiator.
  • Capacity to build trusting relationships.
  • Customer focused and result-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
  • SSII Outsourcing policy and TPRM knowledge is a plus.
