We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join our team in our Paris office. With a focus on our key accounts in the French market, you'll have the opportunity to manage, retain, and grow our top-tier clients. If you're passionate about driving client engagement and adoption, building trusted relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, this is the perfect role for you.
**What You'll Do**:
As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Meltwater's most valuable clients.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Managing and fostering the success of assigned top-tier Meltwater clients.
- Establishing trusted relationships with clients, ensuring continuous value delivery of our products.
- Driving engagement, adoption, and enthusiasm among clients.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and expanding existing accounts.
- Collaborating with the sales teams to onboard and train new clients.
- Conducting executive business reviews, actively listening to customer feedback, and identifying areas of improvement.
- Collaborating with the Account Executive team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Negotiating and closing renewal business with C-level executives and decision-makers to meet or exceed quotas.
- Owning churn, retention, and growth targets for your client accounts.
- Undertaking additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
**What You'll Bring**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of SaaS sales experience.
- Demonstrable experience in renewing and expanding products within existing customer accounts.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas, preferably with enterprise-level customers, in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment.
- Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing presentation skills.
- Adept at understanding and articulating Meltwater's products, mapping their value propositions to customer needs.
- Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver a highly tailored, consultative client experience.
- Outstanding time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurricular activities.
- Business-level fluency in both French and English is required.
