Brand Purchasing Manager - Kilian Paris & EDPFM This position is a permanent contract with a start date of June 1, 2025. **Position Summary**: The Brand Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing product launches to meet revenue and COGs (Cost of Goods) targets. The role involves collaborating with Packaging, Marketing, GBSC, and Procurement teams, managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with global policies regarding cost, quality, and service, and negotiating contracts for new product launches. **Responsibilities**: - ** Supplier Management, Sourcing & Negotiation (40%)**: - Manage product launches within a brand or subcategory, in collaboration with Packaging and Procurement. - Initiate and manage RFQs (Request for Quotation), analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate competitive costs while ensuring quality and timely delivery. - Analyze key metrics and cost drivers to select the best suppliers, considering the product lifecycle. - Provide risk mitigation recommendations, manage quality/service issues, and coordinate supplier information updates. - Work with teams to achieve inventory goals while maintaining cost objectives. - ** Launch Execution & Cost Control (40%)**: - Oversee supplier schedules and collaborate with Packaging and third-party planners to ensure on-time delivery. - Manage launch costs from feasibility to final award, aligning with COGs targets and inventory goals. - Prepare and execute key documentation ("Authorization to Buy," production risk assessments) to ensure timely launches. - Review and report on Purchase Price Variance (PPV) monthly and address any discrepancies. - Create purchase orders for indirect spending and manage financial reports. - ** Value Analysis (20%)**: - Contribute to ideation and execution of value analysis projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers. **Profile**: - Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, retail-oriented environment, preferably in the cosmetics industry. - SAP P2P knowledge, strong communication, and data management skills. - Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and new technologies. - Strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Bilingual in English and French. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, supplier management, and the ability to drive strategic brand initiatives.
