The BDR focus on driving revenue growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities to support the sales funnel. This is achieved via active inbound/outbound prospecting, lead/contact management and setting up meetings between potential clients and our sales representatives. This role reports to the BDR Team Leader, Spain & France and it could be located in Antony (92) or Lyon. ***What you will do in your role**: - Identify, prospect, and hunt new opportunities through networking, social networks, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques - Conduct market & territory research on targeted accounts, verticals, competition and more - Learn our technology offering and continue to up-skill your knowledge of our cutting-edge solutions - Set-up qualified meetings for your account manager and sales director - Develop and accomplish a lead generation plan, meeting, or exceeding monthly targets - Own and convert inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) - Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers (lead qualification) - Cooperate with Marketing, Account Managers and Sales Supervisor to support account strategies, tactics, and value propositions - Develop and consolidate activity reports on monthly activity, per product / industry / region / etc - Capture, maintain, and expand the regional customer and prospect database using a CRM system **What skills and experiences you will need to be successful in this role**: - 1 -2 years of experience as BDR/SDR or customer facing role in B2B environments, ideally in a technology/engineering-related environment - Bachelor’s degree (in a technical or engineering field is ideal) - Knowledge of MS Office, CRM (Salesforce Preferred) - A team player, highly energetic, self-motivated, confident and results oriented - Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation - Full professional fluency in French is mandatory, and good level of English is required - Must be proactive, creative, and take initatives - Honest, accountable, assertive, organised and systematic - Problem-solving skills are a must since you will be given the liberty to put forward innovative solutions to market needs. - You must be a People Person ***How You Will Be Successful**: - **Envision the Future**: - **Communicate Honestly and Broadly**: - **Seek Technology and Business “Firsts”**: - **Embrace Diversity and Take Risks** **What We Offer**: - Flexible time, Hybrid - Company saving and pension plan - Lunch vouchers - Transport reimbursment - Outstanding work/life balance - Working in an environment with friendly people from different backgrounds. - A great opportunity to grow your career in a strong international software company. - We are a "Great Place to Work" certificated compan **Why Work with Us**: Altair is a global technology company providing software and cloud solutions in the areas of product development, high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI).
