The industrial market is highly fragmented. In addition our customer are facing fast increasing levels of complexity with increasing amounts of technologies to manage and integrate. The ISEM is charted to provide system level solutions that reduce complexity for our customers and enable us to scale in this fragmented space.

We are the system level partner to the Product lines and Regional Sales, and together we cover all aspects from system solutions, products and platforms as well as accounts and regions.

**Your responsibilities**
- As the Segment System Architect for Power & Energy, the main responsibilities are to define winning system solutions and provide input to product lines on requirements for new developments.
- Furthermore, there are four areas of responsibility:

- **Establish segment strategy**: Own and drive the definition and implementation of all technical aspects of NXPs system strategy for Power & Energy
- **Deliver solutions**: Define and implement system level solutions at our customers with products from the product lines
- **Build leadership**: Create close technical relationships at our key customers for NXP to become the trusted advisor.
- **Scale**: Scale system solutions from top customers into the mass market
- As the system architect, you identify the key customer technical challenges from a customer use case perspective, establish system based solutions and drive the process for developing and implementing these solutions at our customers.
- The ISEM team is working closely with the product lines, using the products and software they develop to build system solutions, reference designs and proof of concepts.
- You own and drive the input to the product lines on requirements for new developments, to match the segment needs and go to market strategy.
- This role is reporting directly to the ISEM Chief Architect and dotted line to the segment lead for Power & Energy solutions

**Your profile**

To be successful in this role you have:

- Extensive experience in Power & Energy, with deep understanding of technologies, trends and needs
- Senior System Architect with experience ideally from a company operating in developing Power & Energy solutions, namely EV charging, energy management and storage, power conversion, breakers and switches or metering systems
- Extensive experience in defining, developing, and implementing complex Power & Energy HW/SW systems
- Experience in power sensing and conversion technologies, real-time and digital signal processing architectures, functional safety for power management systems, data processing and management solutions
- Strong management skills with a team first mentality. Strong ability to work cross functionally, across many stakeholders to drive towards common goals and objectives
- Ability to engage with key C-level stakeholders at customer to build trust and confidence
- Thorough understanding of NXP customer systems, including both software and hardware, with ability to understand the key challenges and translate them to system solutions we can develop and scale into the mass market
- Experience in working with global teams in matrix organizations
