**Job Overview**

Beicip-Franlab is a world-leading consulting company, renowned for its technical excellence, providing services and software to support energy professionals in interpreting subsurface data and assessing development opportunities and risks.

We are seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join our Basin Evaluation & Modelling team as a Senior Basin Analyst Consultant. In this role, you will lead integrated project teams, collaborating with experienced geophysicists, geologists, and reservoir engineers. You will contribute to exploration studies and utilize IFPEN Group software suite for Stratigraphic and Basin Modelling (TemisFlow, KronosFlow, CougarFlow and DionisosFlow).

Leveraging Beicip-Franlab’s international presence and technical versatility, you will work on basins worldwide, addressing a variety of contexts and challenges, including petroleum system assessment in frontier basins, play and prospect evaluation in mature basins, near-field exploration, geothermal potential, carbon storage and the exploration of natural hydrogen.

You will be based in our headquarters near Paris in France with opportunities to travel abroad.

**Responsibilities**

As a Senior Consultant, you will report directly to the Team Leader for management matters and to Project Leaders for operational activities. You will be expected to:

- Lead basin and stratigraphic modeling by integrating subsurface geological, geophysical and reservoir data across various settings
- Actively collaborate with integrated project teams consisting of geophysicists, geologists, and reservoir engineers
- Participate in client presentations and discussions, from data collection to results delivery
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members
- Oversee projects within your area of expertise as well as cross-functional projects
- Conduct peer reviews and audits
- Contribute to publications and technical communications
- Engage in technical sales activities

**Nombre d'heures par semaine**: 38
- MSc/PhD degree in Geology
- 8+ experience in International Oil & Gas Consultancy or Oil & Gas companies
- Fluent in English (other languages advantageous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal right to work in France
- Willingness to undertake short-term and long-term overseas missions
- Strong technical rigor, ability to synthesize information and effective presentation skills
- Expertise in Basin Modelling, Petroleum Geochemistry, Play & Prospect Evaluation and Risk Assessment
- Proficiency in relevant software, including Basin Modeling tools (Forward Stratigraphic Modeling is advantageous
- Familiarity with standard software packages
