Social Media and Communication Expert - European Commission

Your Role
As an Social Media and Communication Expert, these are the main tasks that you'll be responsible for:
- Identify, summarize and present strategic opportunities for media presence;
- Plan media presence in different media outlets and channels;
- Creating relationships with media, journalists, influencers and other communication stakeholders;
- Development of communication strategies;
- Development of strategic considerations to enhance the quality and effectiveness of communication projects;
- Providing insights into communication trends and how they may impact the Client communication strategy:
What You'll Bring
Technical Skills:
- Ability to autonomously research content, excellent writing skills and have the ability to translate difficult policy language into understandable content
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities in user generated content
- Experience with social analytics tools and/or reporting
- Experience with Meta business suite or similar social media advertising tools
- Knowledge of AI technologies
- Ability to communicate results to stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge of communication techniques, tools, standards and trends
- Knowledge of communication performance indicators and proven capacity to select and apply them to concrete communication projects
- Ability to interpret data in order to issue strategic advice on meeting communication challenges and objectives
- In-depth knowledge of the media landscape in the EU;
Education & Certifications:
- Studies related to the field
Languages:
- Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
- Excellent knowledge of French - Level C1-C2 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
Soft Skills:
- Autonomous
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
