    €60K – €68K annual gross, depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Fullstack Developer at Dylogy, you will play a key role in building and scaling our AI-powered SaaS platform.

You'll collaborate closely with our backend, frontend, and data teams to design, develop, and deliver new product features that push the boundaries of (re)insurance technology.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services in Python/FastAPI
  • Building and improving our React + TypeScript frontend to deliver a seamless user experience
  • Ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across the platform
  • Collaborating with the CTO and a multidisciplinary tech team (4 developers and 4 ML Engineers) to define technical architecture and best practices
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (Pytest, Ruff, Pyright)
  • Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing to maintain technical excellence
  • Contributing to infrastructure setup and automation (AWS, Docker, Terraform)
  • Supporting the scalability and production-readiness of the platform as we move towards live deployment

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
7+ years as a Fullstack or Backend Engineer in SaaS

Backend skills

Backend Development (Primary Focus)

  • Python (main language)
  • FastAPI (API development framework)
  • PostgreSQL (primary database)

Infrastructure & DevOps

  • AWS (Cognito, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
  • Docker (containerisation)
  • Terraform / AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)

Workflow & Task Management

  • Temporal / SQS
  • Asynchronous background job handling

Testing & Quality

  • Pytest, Ruff, Pyright

Development Tools

  • Git, Docker Compose, Makefile

Security & Compliance

  • Authentication/Authorisation (RBAC, JWT)
  • Audit logging & secret management

Frontend Skills

Optional
: React 19, TypeScript, Zod, Tailwind, React Query, Unit Testing

Nice to have:

  • Storybook, Shadcn, TanStack Router
  • Machine Learning & AI – Responsibility of the Machine Learning Team, but partial knowledge is a plus
