About The Role and What You'll Need
About The Role
- Lead key projects, from strategic scoping to hands-on execution, that will contribute to make Uber best-in-class on driver experience and marketplace reliability.
- Tackle business challenges by identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions in coordination with ops and product teams all over the world. (e.g., how to foster the retention and engagement of our high-frequency drivers)
- Put yourself in our drivers' shoes to identify their challenges and pain points. Design innovative and efficient solutions to solve them (e.g., launch new rewards inside our loyalty program)
- Engage with several functions across the business (policy, communications, product, marketing, legal, and customer support) and have the ability to execute in a constantly evolving, complex environment.
- Use data to improve decision-making and impact business outcomes across France (e.g., set up earnings and loyalty dashboard to monitor project efficiency)
Basic Qualifications
- Ownership: Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit. Passion for the mission of our business and the impact it has on the cities we serve. You are a team player with no task too big or too small, and you do everything you can to create the best transportation service in the world.
- Analytics: You base your opinions on data. You are fluent in Excel modeling and are used to performing numerical analyses to generate the conclusions needed to move forward in your projects.
- Stakeholder Management: You enjoy collaborating with international cross-functional teams. While directly being the lead of such stakeholder management, you are eager to contribute to the overall interactions with the different team members.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive with ambiguity; high capacity to learn; willingness to experiment and iterate
- Operational Excellence: You like to execute the projects you work on and are not afraid to get involved in operational details. You can deliver in full autonomy on projects with critical business and reputational risks.
