Mission

Directly reporting to the Client Portfolio Manager of the Alternative Investments Platform, the CPM Assistant will closely work with the fund managers.

Responsabilité

His/Her core tasks are the following:

1/ Develop with Portfolio Managers relevant marketing contents about the funds:

  • Deal with all communication and sales support related to the investment fund range,
  • Deliver an effective and high-quality marketing material and monitor the available documentation.

2/ Liaise with Portfolio Managers / Client Relationship Managers / Communication and Marketing teams:

  • Act as an internal contact point for all requests for information on Absolute Return & Quant Equity strategies. Update the funds marketing collateral in liaison with the marketing department.
  • Provide an in-depth knowledge to Candriam sales of the technical aspects of the fund range and investment processes, performances, comparison with our peers, etc.
  • Work closely together with the other team members of CPM, and other Candriam business units involved in fund and portfolio management (Risk, Performance Attribution, Financial Engineering, Legal, ...).
  • Respond to client questions and Ad-hoc requests (special reports, RFP).

Profil

  • Master's degree (or final year of Bachelor) in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Deep interest in the investment management / financial markets
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel, ability to make impactful presentations
  • Analytical mind, enterprising, creative
  • Resistance to stress, structured and methodical
  • Team spirit, flexible and open to change.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and basic accounting principles is an advantage
