The aim of the Graduate Program is to offer talented young peoplethe opportunity to gain experience within the Group in order to acquire theprofessional skills needed to become a manager within the Group.
Joining the Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to live aunique experience at the heart of the operational and business challenges ofthe subsidiary you are joining. For one year, you will be accompanied by amentor who will contribute to the development of your expertise.
Job : Transportation Manager Junior
Where? Denmark
Missions :
Oversee alltransportation operations, including plane loading, delivery, ramp operations,and coordination with airport authorities. Manage teamscheduling to ensure optimal service for clients and efficient use of companyresources. Monitor and analyzedelivery schedules to optimize routes. Ensure service andcost targets are met; develop and implement recommendations as needed. Participate in staffmanagement at all levels, including hiring, training, discipline, promotions,work assignments, and monitoring hours. Oversee the entiretransportation process, including inventory tracking and fleet management. Ensure compliancewith company rules, labor legislation, and all applicable legal requirements. Prepare and implementprocedures for maintaining cleanliness of vehicles, docks, and workstations. Work closely with theQuality Manager to control alerts and food safety issues. Perform daily checkson equipment and premises maintenance. Manage departmentalperformance through operational KPIs (e.g., punctuality, accidents, incidents)and share planned actions for expected improvements to meet Group standards. Provide Root causeanalysis report in case of delay Investigate and providecorrective actions to crew reports Ensure properimplementation of Group tools (Flicare, Timeblock; Fraactal; Etc.) Implement measures toachieve the primary goal of on-time delivery as determined by customers. Conduct physicalaudits on the ramp as required for operations purposes. Arrange and optimizeschedules based on daily aircraft movements. Maintain closefollow-up and effective communication with company customers. Ensure timely andaccurate updates of passenger loads and services provided to clients. Support dispatch,drivers, duty managers, dock managers, and flight checkers and flightsupervisors; cover shifts or find solutions as needed to ensure smoothoperations. Provide properreporting to the Operations Director and Unit Manager. Plan, optimize, andfollow up on preventive and curative maintenance of the assigned fleet. Monitor and optimizefuel consumption for the assigned fleet. Ensure all employeescomply with company rules and policies and adhering to uniforms Oversee the properuse of equipment and vehicles. Enforce and monitoradherence to truck safety rules and traffic laws. Enforce safety rulesregarding the unit building, equipment, and workstations.
Perfil
Immediately out ofschool (less than two years) or after a few years' experience AND wishing tospecialize or discover the airline catering environment in a position ofresponsibility.
A taste forchallenge, commitment, the ability to learn and to undertake.
Mobility oriented
Training orexperience in logistics, supply chain, and/or management is an asset.
· Strong oral andwritten communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
· Field experience infood handling, logistics, transportation, or the airline industry is required.
· Capable of workingunder pressure without close supervision.
· Ability to workmornings, evenings, and weekends.
· Strategic mindsetwith the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts using innovativeideas.
· Valid driving licenseand ability to obtain security clearance (Background check is mandatory)
· Ability to meet allairport clearance requirements.
· Proficiency incomputer skills (MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
