Position Summary
We are seeking to hire a apprentice on an initial 12 month contract to join our Paris Claims team.
Under close supervision, learns claims adjusting practices by participating in formal, informal or on-the-job training for a specified period of time.
Position Summary
- Enters loss information into appropriate claims application and uploads documents onto e-file.
- Issues payments advices and subrogation forms.
- Provides diary support.
- Manages bordereaux data.
- General support to management and examiners
- Account queries including running reports as requested
- Respond to brokers and/or Insured on queries and updates when requested.
- Complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position, that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Interested in a career in insurance.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop positive business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong ability to identify, analyse and solve problems as well as the ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to change.
- Ability to work independently.
- Developing decision-making skills.
- Intermediate English level.
