The APC team in charge of enhancing the quality and performances of shopping products: “I want to go to New York first week of June, what are the best available flights?” Our customers are Online Travel Agencies (ex. Expedia), Airline e-commerce websites(ex. Lufthansa) and Metasearch customers (ex. Kayak).
We are working on the Availability Processing Engine (APE), a platform powered by an OBE farm of hundreds of nodes, processing several million flight availability computations per second, in a very competitive market (Google is one of our main competitors). APE is one of the biggest OBE in Amadeus. Our Couchbase cluster is the biggest in the world.

About the role:
Specific accountabilities:
● Analyse specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
● Design systems and code
_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
_ Model, design and implement databases.
● Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst
● Document your work
_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
About the ideal candidate:
You have:
• At least 1-year of experience as C++ developer
• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Azure or Cloud experience is a plus
• Python knowledge, in addition, to C++, is appreciated.
• Fluent English
